Loot & Recruit is a deck-building game that brings a twist to the genre through its stacking mechanism, dual currency system, and PvP elements. Become a contestant in a crazy Goblin festival as you compete for the title of Goblin King. During the festival, you will add new cards to your deck, recruit Goblins for victory points, attack other players, and hire minions to perform special actions. Hi everyone! It's been awhile since we last had an update, so I wanted to let you know what's going on with the game.
Game Design
Over the last few months, we've been testing the game to ensure there were no last-minute issues with the game's design. At this point, we're happy to say the game's design is finished!
Of course, there's still a chance someone could find a game-breaking issue, but it's unlikely at this point. However, we'll continue to put the game in front of people until it's time to send the files off to the manufacturer.
Components
Speaking of manufacturing, we're finalizing all the components as we type this. Currently, we have the following components completed:
Our goal is to have all components finished by the end of this month. Personally, I've been slowed down by the Chaos Edition rulebook. It's been a challenge trying to ensure everything is written precisely and in the correct order. However, I should have a 1st pass completed within the next week, so be on the lookout for that.
Currently, we're still on track to have the game in your hands by June of this year. Also, since I work for myself as a freelance designer, I have the flexibility to quickly turnaround any changes to the components if the manufacturer has any issues with them.
How you can help
We need as many people to read and provide feedback on the Rulebook as possible. Any input you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

I feel irresponsible for not providing more updates since the game funded. So, my goal is to post at least one new update every month from now until the game is in everyone's hands. If you don't hear from me or Vile Genius by the middle of February, make sure to give us a nudge :)
Hurricane Irma

Hello Minions,
Vile Genius Games is headquartered in Davie, Florida which is about 5 miles west of Ft. Lauderdale. If you have seen the news Irma is a Cat 5 storm heading directly for South Florida. If this storm continues its current track it could hit with devastating damage to the tri county area. This could mean we lose power, internet, and huge amount of structural damage.
This is not the first hurricane we have been through and it will not be the last. However we are going to asking to please bare with us as we might lose internet for a considerable amount of time. During Hurricane Wilma we were down a complete month. This could mean lack of communication and possible delays.
As for the production of Loot anbd Recruit, the storm should not impact this much. Sorry for any inconvenience but we are excited to get this game out to backers as soon as possible.

Hey everyone!
It's been awhile since we gave an update on the game, so we figured now would be a good time to give you some insight on the project's progression. Here's what's happened over the last few weeks:
All the design work for the base game and Chaos Edition Expanison is finished.
All component files are being finalized so they're good to send off to the manufacturer once production is ready to start.
We decided to go ahead and add in the King's Favor expansion to the base game.
We're still well on schedule to have the game completed and in your hands by the estimated delivery date. As things progress we'll make sure to keep you updated. In the meantime, feel free to utilize the comments section to communicate with us.

First we wanted to give a big shout out to one of our game testers who has been extremely helpful in helping our games get developed has launched his first game Gameception The Game within a Game.
The final pieces of art are currently being worked on and we are reaching out to the backers who backed the collector tier to get their goblins done. The Chaos Expansion is coming along nicely and the game play is solid.
We are pleased to announce that between Kickstarter, Backerkit, and Indie GoGo we have unlocked the next stretch goal which is card stock player mats in the base game!
